Maritime Systems

Aurora International Technologies Pte Ltd and its partners build high-speed civil and dual-purpose vehicles based on various hydrodynamic principles. These are hovercraft and hydrofoils, air cavity craft and gliding boats with different bottom configuration, multipurpose platforms and ekranoplans (ground effect vehicles).

We provide an integrated solution for the complete design of the ship, including hull forms definition, naval architecture calculations, hull structure, outfitting, electrical and accommodation spaces, which allows the application of the concurrent engineering concept in a distributed design office environment.


Our experimental-research and production center provides experimental, design and technological services related with building of all types of high-speed vessels. Experimental-production center includes a dockyard, used for ekranoplans' building and final fitting-out.


AIT and our partners are creating design projects for new generation high-speed vessels of civil and special purposes.
More than 8 thousand hydrofoils have been built in Russia, using our projects over more than 60 years. Many of our hydrofoils are operated throughout 32 different countries.

Hydrofoils

The developed and built riverine and seagoing hydrofoil craft having
speeds three times as those of displacement ships have enabled to create high-speed passenger transportation system on rivers and in sea coastal areas.

Ekranoplans

Ekranoplans are a unique type of ultra -high-speed vehicles, an unparalleled sea aircraft with a new motion principle based on the use of the aerodynamic effect of supporting surface proximity – a "surface effect" for ultra-low high-speed cruising.

Hovercraft

Hovercraft are high-speed knockdown amphibious transportation mean of good cross-country ability. The designs are multi-purpose, for use on inner and marine waterways and surrounding land areas in conditions of all-year-round exploitation.

Motorboats

A motorboat, speedboat, or powerboat is a boat which is powered by an engine. Some motorboats are fitted with inboard engines, others have an outboard motor installed on the rear, containing the internal combustion engine, the gearbox and the propeller in one portable unit.
